According to Armstrong (2009) employee engagement is achieved when an employee’s enthusiasm for work is stimulated and directed towards the success of the organization, which means there is a correlation between employee engagement and organizational success.

Employee engagement (involvement and enthusiasm) has linked it to such variables as employee turnover, customer satisfaction – loyalty, safety and to a lesser degree, productivity and profitability criteria. Engagement is linked to three essential forces in the organization - attrition, productivity & profitability.Profitability is the result of actively engaged work force. ( Simon 2011 )

  3. Agree with you Shammi. Employee engagement is impacted on every employee and employees will demonstrate them in work environment. Engaged employees do not easily leave the organization. Also engaged employee absence is very low. Engaged employee attend for the tasks without any complains (Guest, 2009).
